Firstly I hope you are all well and coping with these strange times we find ourselves in.
I am delighted to announce that our bar will be open this coming Saturday from 12pm (weather permitting).
I mention the weather because realistically we are not able to offer much indoor seating due to social distancing restrictions, but we have got a very large beer garden!
Hopefully with decent weather we can all have a drink and a much needed catch-up and put the world to right. I know I need one!
We will be offering a table service on Saturday to alleviate the need to be in the Clubhouse. I sincerely hope you take advantage of this. Details will be explained on the day. Just to advise, we now have a card reader, so please pay by debit card where possible. We plan to use glasses on the day, but single use only
As well as the usual 2m distancing, which I trust we will all adhere to, we will have a one way system in place in the Clubhouse if you wish to use the toilets or the bar. You must enter via the player’s entrance and exit via the main door. This must be strictly adhered to with no exceptions.
Only 1 person is permitted in the Gents and Ladies toilet, respectively, at any time. The changing rooms will not be available.
Hand sanitiser will be readily available both inside and outside and as is now the normal, please wash your hands regularly.
We had considered putting on a BBQ but felt that it would be safer if you brought your own food from home, for example a picnic, or we may arrange takeaways.
I know all the above are not ideal circumstances but I sincerely hope you can put that to oneside and come and have drink with me because somehow I’ve missed you all.
