Newton Cricket Club is available for hire for your next family event, special occasion or business function.

Our modern and fully licensed function room can cater for birthday parties, christenings, wedding receptions or funerals.

Maximum capacity for the room is 70 people. We have a music system you can connect your phone to or room for a DJ or artist along with a dancefloor area. We also have a large decking area with outdoor tables and chairs for the warmer weather.

Our kitchen facilities can be made available upon request.

Costs are dependent on numbers attending, with a nominal amount charge to cover bar staff and cleaning costs.

While the cricket season is active (roughly mid-April to mid-September) we can’t offer private functions on a Saturday day/evening.

During the cricket season any private functions on a Friday evening just need to be aware that players, juniors and spectators will have access to the facilities for training purposes and there may be a minor cross over between this and any private function (mainly use of toilets and bar facilities).
The club will endeavour to keep any impact of this cross over to a minimum.
