First up a shoutout to Bobby - Saturday saw him get his first senior 50 runs, as well as taking 3 wickets. Sunday he played his first game in the 1st XI - well done Bobby

Gerry also took five wickets this weekend over the two days

Sunday at Mount Pleasant was the place to be, with the sun shining, the drinks flowing and the cricket cricketing.

Gary led a junior heavy team to a brilliant win

Lily took a brilliant four wickets from her 6 overs, taking two in two consecutive balls.

Harley took two wickets and Zak took a wicket off a brilliant catch by Josh H in his first 3rd team game.

Batting - Lewis G donned a pair of borrowed whites and scored an impressive 51 runs and retired. Heading in to the last over at 149/7 chasing 158 it was getting tense - Gary and Harley got two singles, then two dot balls, Gary hit a four and the crowd's getting giddy, down to the last ball of the game and Gary hits another boundary heading ball and after a bit of an unfortunate fumble in the field the ball crosses the line and NCC have won the game.

With the sun shining and the beers flowing, the crowd cheered like we'd just won a final
