We’re delighted to welcome everyone back as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting 2026 season for the club.
There’s plenty to be positive about this year. We’re thrilled to have Gerry back with us from South Africa, alongside this, we’ve strengthened our senior sides with some excellent new signings, including the appointment of Andy Gleave as our new 1st XI captain adding valuable experience and quality to the setup. It’s also great to see the return of some familiar faces, reinforcing the strong foundations already in place.
Our ladies team is going from strength to strength, with numbers and enthusiasm increasing all the time, and our junior section continues to thrive, producing talent and providing a brilliant environment for young players to develop.
We’re especially excited to welcome back All Stars Cricket this year, with 10 children already signed up, showing just how strong the appetite is for cricket at a young age. Adding to that excitement, we’ll be fielding an Under 19s team this season – something we haven’t had for a few years – which is another fantastic step forward for the club’s player pathway.
Away from the boundary rope, our social team has put together a great calendar of events running throughout the year, ensuring there’s plenty happening both on and off the field for players, members, and supporters alike.
We’d like to wish all our teams the very best of luck for the season ahead, and here’s to a successful and enjoyable 2026.
