In 2024 Newton Cricket Club launched a ladies cricket team for the first time in the clubs history. We enjoyed training over the summer, along with some festivals and joined our first indoor league over the winter.

The Newton Novas will play their first season in Division Three of the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket Ladies Softball League.

We practice on Friday evenings 7-8pm at the club and are always on the lookout for new players. We’re newly established so still learning and welcome ladies and girls 13+ of all abilities.
